Following the Prime Minister’s Ministerial Broadcast on the 23rd March 2020, our top priority at Borg Locks Ltd remains the health and safety of our staff and customers. We’re following HM Governmental advice to minimise the risks.
Contingency plans are in place and currently the business is operating as close to usual, with a reduced workforce covering the office and warehouse functions. Other staff are working from home with remote access to the business.
Opening hours and customer support hours remain unaffected at this time. Should any of this change and we’re formally requested to close, you will be informed.
At present, orders are being processed out as normal. As we rely on supply chains and courier services to fulfil orders, we strongly recommend that customers plan ahead with their potential requirements. Our stock levels remain good but with reduced staffing, delays may occur if the product has to be specifically made up. You will be informed at time of order of any potential delays.
Our courier services (DPD) have provided an update informing that all parcel operations continue as normal at present.
Should we be forced to close the office and warehouse, phone calls will be diverted to a dedicated team member working from home.
However, where possible, please email us on email@example.com and we will respond to any queries you may have as quickly and effectively as we can under these circumstances.
We will still accept customer returns for repairs and servicing as usual, but please be aware that there could be delays on us sending these back to you. Please allow for extra repair and return time and only ship units back to us where absolutely necessary. Many technical problems and queries may be able to be solved at site with the assistance of one of our technicians, either over the phone or via email.
In these unusual circumstances, we ask for your understanding if requests take longer than normal to complete. We’ll let you know if there are any significant changes that may affect you. Please be patient and bear with us over the coming weeks and we will do our upmost to service you and your customers.
