If the inside handle is failing to return to it’s default location, it’s possible that the handle return spring has been snapped or damaged. Normally, this occurs when force has been applied to the handle itself or the mechanism has become jammed and yet pressure is still applied.
Whilst not a common problem, there are a few factors that could lead to this part breaking. These include age, high amounts of daily traffic and force.
This spring is a replacement part, designed to retrofit into a inside handle to allow it to return back to position each and every time.
