The BL2501 Cu ECP antimicrobial digital door lock is a smart solution for reducing the spread of viruses and germs on high-touch areas like keypads, handles, and latches. Part of the Cu-Shield range from Borg Locks, it’s the world’s first digital door lock made from a high-copper alloy (at least 60% copper), which is proven to kill viruses quickly between touches and cleans. Although it has the look of brushed brass, its copper-rich surface offers long-lasting antimicrobial protection that continues to work throughout the life of the product, even as it naturally darkens over time.
This digital door lock includes a copper alloy keypad, internal handle, and an anti-thrust 60mm tubular latch, all designed to reduce germs on contact. It’s built for durability, tested for over 100,000 cycles, and offers more than 4,000 possible code combinations. The lock also features the Easicode Pro system, allowing quick, on-the-door code changes in just 10 seconds. For added convenience, it can be supplied with a holdback function at no extra cost, ideal for keeping the door open when needed.
