The BL5401 FT fire tested lock is a strong, reliable lock designed for doors that need both access control and fire protection.
It has been independently tested for 30 and 60 minutes, meeting strict fire safety standards, and comes with an intumescent kit to make it fully compliant with fire door regulations.
The lock features a fully clutched flat bar handle making it suitable for many different applications. If fitting on a front door, a secondary BS-rated euro cylinder is also recommended. For added
convenience, the lock also includes an optional free passage mode that temporarily bypasses the code for easy access.
Fitted with a 60mm or 70mm tubular latch, this fire tested lock works on wooden, composite, and steel doors, both internally and in sheltered outdoor locations, making it a durable, secure, and hassle-free choice for homes and commercial spaces.
