This system utilises a Small Format Interchangeable Core (SFIC) cylinder, allowing the key to engage the lever/knob handle effectively. This is particularly beneficial for use with heavily sprung third-party locks. The keypad lever/knob remains free rotating and only engages with the clutch and 8mm spindle drive when the correct code or key is entered.
