Gardens are often a burglar’s first point of access to a property, so it’s sensible for homeowners to make it as difficult as possible for them to either gain access to, or exit from a garden.
Borg Locks have been relied upon by homeowners for 25 years to control access to and from gardens and we have an expansive range of digital combination locks which are ideal to secure your garden gate and protect the valuables in your garden.
Our BL4400 Series of digital locks have all been designed to be fitted onto wooden and timber garden gates, so you can easily find the best lock to secure your garden and your valuables.
Let’s look at some of their key features so you can choose the right lock for your garden gate.
BL4409 &BL4409 ECP MG Pro – recently updated with a new knob turn handle, this is one of our most popular garden gate locks. It also comes with a holdback function, which is ideal if you need to leave the gate open for a period of time. Available with our unique Easicode Pro function and without.
BL4441 & BL4441 ECP MG Pro – where you want to control access in and out of your garden (perhaps to stop children leaving unsupervised), this lock has back to back keypads, which require a code to be entered each time it is used. Also designed for thicker gates up to 80mm.
BL4402 ECP MG Pro – perfect for panelled doors or gates with varying depths of wood thickness, it has been designed with a 28mm ali latch for these types of narrow stile gates where a full length mortice lock is too long.
BL4442 & BL4442 ECP MG Pro – designed with two back to back keypads to control access in and out, this gate lock also has a 28mm ali latch to fit narrow stile gates.
Our range of digital locks suitable for garden gates also extends into our BL2000 Series with two very popular locks:
BL2605 ECP MG Pro – for a simpler fit this lock mounts on the surface of the gate and offers a deadlock rather than a latch bolt for added strength.
BL2625 ECP MG Pro – for the highest level of access control this surface deadlock comes with two keypads for entry and exit control of a gate.
Where you see the code ‘ECP’ after one of our lock numbers, this means you can choose to buy this lock with our unique Easicode Pro functionality. With and ECP lock, you can easily change the code for the keypads in seconds without removing the locks from the gate or door.
Locks designated with ‘MG’ are Borg Locks’ robust Marine Grade Pro 2 black finish. This gives the lock added UV protection as well as proven resistance from corrosion by harsh elements, making it perfect for all external uses, such as garden gates.
Whatever you need, Borg Locks have a lock for your garden gate. Our digital combination locks in the BL4400 Series and BL2000 Series as already noted will fit timber and wooden gates, as well as metal and aluminium gates with our BL3000 Series locks.
Depending on your gate style, you will be able to fit a Borg gate lock yourself with our handy installation guides, or you can ask a qualified locksmith to fit a Borg Lock for you.
